'''Tessa, Countess Draymark''' is the only daughter of the 2nd Earl Draymark, former Governor of Boras. As the only child of Lord Draymark, she acceded to the title on her father's death in [[Aquita]] during the [[Battle of Alkirk]].

While out on the town in the capital of Boras without her security escort, Tessa was attacked by several street thugs. [[Azzah Rasha]], [[Jerry Heberling]] and [[Jin]] came to her aid, and in thanks Lord Draymark put them up in a Suite for the night. The next morning Tessa and her father left for Tyrin for the governor's conference in Aquita.

In the closing days of the conference, the Azuli attacked the conference buildings in Aquita, and Lord Draymark was killed. Tessa, now Countess Draymark, escaped with the Princess [[Emilie Duryea Cassin|Emilie]], the Queen, and the mortally injured King aboard a Gig flown by [[Lord Archer]], with guns manned by [[Lord Zuko]], and was brought aboard the cruiser ''[[Astute]]'' for the remainder of the battle.
