Tabacc is a card game played with circular cards. It has six suits (Knives, Shields, Cups, Coins, Banners and Axes), with each suit made up of twelve cards, for a total of 72 cards. The game originated on the planet Tenh nearly four hundred years ago, and has since spread across the known worlds. It is primarily a gambling game played by the lower classes.
Each suit has 2 face cards, The Emperor and The General, and then ten numbered cards (ie: "The 6 of coins").
Kai Devon and Jin were seen playing Tabacc aboard the Princess Emilie while waiting for the ship to be released to leave by the Port Authority of Alkirk. Skanim Gess Was also seen playing it with some other unsavory types in the Muddy Rudder on Tal Haliim.
