The First Lord of the Admiralty, also known as the Admiral of the Red, is the highest ranking officer in the Royal Tyrin Navy, unless the supreme rank of Admiral of the Fleet is filled. Admiral Carteret was the First Lord of the Admiralty during the Second Azuli War.
