HM Joint Orbital Station Castle is a shared Naval, Marine and Infantry base in orbit of Tyrin, and is Tyrin's largest military station. and is a large spacedock and repair station. TSS Astute and the rest of her squadron were docked at Castle during the surprise attack on Tyrin. She station was damaged in the attack but not severely, and it was defended by the Corvettes Ranger, Daring and Wager, and the gunboats Fury, Hope, Fox and Rose. It received additional assistance from the Corvette Swift once control of the skies over Alkirk had been regained. The Daring and Hope were lost in the defense of Castle with all hands.
