Field Marshal is both a rank and position in the Royal Tyrin Infantry and Marines. It is only activated in times of great need and ranks above the rank of General, and commands the entire Tyrin ground forces as Chief of the General Staff. His Royal Highness the Duke of Silverfall was Field Marshal during the Second Azuli War.
