Admiralty House was a 200 year old four-story stone house in Alkirk that was the home of the Admiralty, and administrative command of the Tyrin Royal Navy. When Admiralty House was destroyed in the Battle of Alkirk, Admiral of the Fleet The Duke of Waverley temporarily relocated the Admiralty aboard the battleship TSS Regent.
During the battle of Alkirk when the Admiralty shut down the planetary defenses due to the treason of Admiral Croft, the Queen lost faith in the Admiralty an granted full command of the Navy to the Lord High Admiral, The Duke of Waverley. He in turn stripped the Admiralty of all command authority until the event could be investigated.
