Niraya Petton, OM is a Royal Navy Medic and former trauma nurse who is a member of the inner circle of the Duke of Silverfall and Duke of Waverley. She is of Maragoran descent.
Niraya was born on the planet Maragor and was trained as a trauma nurse, and served in this capacity for several years. Due to some legal trouble she got involved in that she has never discussed, her license to practice medicine was revoked within the Federated States. As a result, the only employment she was able to get was as personal nurse to the ailing mobster Boran Jarrett on Siscelei. This employment ended when Jarrett was assassinated (believed to be the work of Mike Houghtaling and AJ Olsen, but she was present so knows this to be untrue), so Mike and AJ hired her as their much-needed medic. Niraya was aboard TSS Astute at the time of the Battle of Alkirk, and was assisting the attending physician in treating King Derrod of Tyrin at the time of his death.
Niraya is a recipient of the prestigious Order of Merit, awarded her by the King of Tyrin for her involvement in the rescue of his daughter, the future Queen Emilie, and the Distinguished Service Cross for her role in the assault on The Helix.
