The Shining Star (Azuli: Visala) is an experimental exploration vessel designed by the Azuli Research Directorate. A ship of the same design but modified for military use as a light corvette was also constructed, and at the time of the attack on The Helix, the prototype was in it's final trial phase. The ship was captured By Mike Houghtaling and AJ Olsen while escaping the destruction of The Helix, and they have claimed it as their own. Shining Star carries a crew of 15, five officers and ten crew.
